01Who we are and what this covers
Plex Host (“we”, “us”) provides hosted game servers, the dashboard at app.plex.gg, and related tools. These terms apply to every account, server and subscription. By creating an account you agree to them.
If you are using Plex Host on behalf of a community, team or company, you confirm you can bind that group to these terms.
02Your account
You need to be at least 16 to hold an account, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Team members you invite get the access you grant them. You remain responsible for the server and its bill.
03Acceptable use
Run game servers. Modify them, mod them, open them to the public, charge for ranks. All fine.
Not fine, and grounds for suspension without refund:
- Using a server for anything other than hosting games and their supporting tools (no crypto mining, no proxies, no bots).
- Attacking other networks, including other Plex Host servers.
- Content that is illegal where you or we are, or that targets or harasses real people.
- Circumventing resource limits or billing.
04Billing and renewals
Plans renew automatically at the period you chose: weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual. Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency you picked, with taxes added at checkout where required.
Memory upgrades take effect immediately and are charged pro rata. Downgrades apply at the next renewal.
Failed payments give you 7 days to update your card. After that the server is stopped, and after 14 more days it is deleted along with its backups.
05Cancellation and refunds
Cancel from Billing at any time. The server runs until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
06Your data and your worlds
Your worlds, configs and backups are yours. We do not look at them except to fix a problem you asked us about, or when the law requires it.
You can download a full backup at any time, and for 14 days after a server is deleted.
07Uptime and support
We target 99.9% monthly uptime per server, measured from our side, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 24 hours ahead and anything caused by your own configuration or mods. Missing the target earns SLA credits as set out in the dashboard.
Support is available by chat, Discord and email, 24/7, with a median first reply under 10 minutes. Mod and plugin problems inside your world are best-effort.
08Changes to the service and these terms
We add games and features often and occasionally retire a template. We give 30 days notice before removing anything your server uses.
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed 14 days before they apply. Keeping your server running after that date means you accept them.
09Liability
Plex Host is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost worlds you did not back up, lost revenue from your community, or anything indirect.
10Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Plex Host is registered, with disputes heard in its courts, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
